Subscriptions & Pricing

DiveToolbox offers both free and premium tools. Use the free tools without creating an account, or subscribe to unlock the full suite of planning and calculation features.

Free Tools​

The following tools are available to everyone, no account required:

  • Conversions — Convert between metric and imperial units for depth, pressure, volume, and temperature
  • MOD / EAD / END — Calculate Maximum Operating Depth, Equivalent Air Depth, and Equivalent Narcotic Depth
  • Gradient Factors — Visualize and understand gradient factor settings

Premium Features​

A subscription unlocks the full power of DiveToolbox:

  • Dive Planner — Full decompression planning using the Buhlmann ZH-L16C algorithm with gradient factors
  • Gas Blending — Nitrox and Trimix blending calculations
  • SAC Calculator — Surface Air Consumption rate calculator
  • Rock Bottom — Minimum gas reserve calculations
  • Successive Dives — Plan multiple dives with surface interval tracking
  • Unlimited dive plans — Save and organize as many dive plans as you need
  • Multi-gas planning — Plan dives with multiple gas switches

Plans​

DiveToolbox offers three subscription plans to fit your needs:

  • Individual — For recreational and technical divers. Full access to all premium features for a single user.
  • Dive Professional — For instructors and divemasters. Includes all premium features plus student access codes (1-week duration each).
  • Dive Center — For dive shops and training centers. Includes all premium features plus permanent instructor accesses, student access codes, and a team access management dashboard.

Free Trial​

Every new user gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all premium features. Payment information is collected when you start your trial, but you won't be charged until it ends.

Billing​

Choose between monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing gives you 2 months free compared to paying month by month. Pricing is available in EUR, USD, GBP, and CHF. You can cancel your subscription at any time.

You can subscribe from the pricing cards on the landing page, or from Settings > Billing if you already have an account.

Mobile subscriptions

On Android and iOS, subscriptions are managed through the respective app store (Google Play or App Store).

Team Access

Dive Professional and Dive Center plans include the ability to grant premium access to students and instructors using access codes. See the Team Access page for details on how to generate and manage access codes.
