Weather
The Weather tool provides real-time marine conditions and forecasts tailored for divers. It combines wind, waves, tides, water temperature, and more into an easy-to-read dashboard that helps you decide when and where to dive.
Divability score
The divability score is the headline indicator on the Weather page. It aggregates multiple marine parameters into a single score from 0 to 100:
- Wind speed and gusts
- Wave height and swell period
- Water temperature
- Cloud cover and rain probability
The score is accompanied by a label:
| Score | Label | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 80--100 | Excellent | Outstanding conditions for diving |
| 60--79 | Good | Favorable conditions, minor factors to watch |
| 40--59 | Moderate | Diveable but check details carefully |
| 20--39 | Poor | Challenging conditions, experienced divers only |
| 0--19 | Bad | Not recommended for diving |
The divability score is calculated for a specific time window (e.g., 08:00 AM -- 12:00 PM). Check the score for the period that matches your planned dive time.
Hourly forecast table
Below the divability score, an hourly forecast table shows detailed conditions for the current day and the next several days:
- Air temperature (°C or °F)
- Feels-like temperature
- Wind speed and direction (km/h or mph)
- Gusts (km/h or mph)
- Rain (mm)
- Cloud cover (%)
- Atmospheric pressure (hPa)
- Wave height (m or ft)
- Wave period (s)
- Water temperature (°C or °F)
Scroll horizontally to navigate through the hours and days. The current hour is highlighted.
Tide chart
The tide section displays a visual chart showing predicted tide levels over the coming days. High and low tide times and heights are marked on the chart.
Tide data is essential for planning:
- Shore dives: enter/exit conditions change dramatically with tide
- Drift dives: current strength and direction depend on tidal phase
- Boat dives: harbor access and mooring may be tide-dependent
Interactive map
The map at the top of the Weather page shows your current location or your selected dive site. You can:
- Pan and zoom to explore different areas
- Tap on the map to get weather data for any coastal or offshore location
Favorite spots
Saving favorite spots requires an active premium subscription.
Save dive sites you visit regularly by tapping the star icon. Your favorites appear in the location selector dropdown for quick access.
You can switch between saved spots instantly to compare conditions across multiple sites and choose the best one for your dive day.
Location selector
The location selector at the top of the page lets you choose which dive site to view. Options include:

Units
The Weather tool respects your unit preference set in your diver profile. Temperatures, wind speeds, wave heights, and other measurements are displayed in metric or imperial units accordingly.
