Subscriptions & Pricing

DiveToolbox uses a freemium model. All tools are accessible to free users with limited quotas, while a Premium subscription unlocks unlimited access.

Free Tools (unlimited)​

The following tools are available to everyone with no limits:

  • Conversions — Convert between metric and imperial units for depth, pressure, volume, and temperature
  • MOD / EAD / END — Calculate Maximum Operating Depth, Equivalent Air Depth, and Equivalent Narcotic Depth
  • Gradient Factors — Visualize and understand gradient factor settings
  • Rock Bottom — Minimum gas reserve calculations
  • Weather — Marine conditions and dive forecasts (2 favorite spots for free users)

Free Tools (with quotas)​

These tools are free to use but limited to a set number of calculations per free account:

  • Dive Planner — 5 calculations
  • Gas Blending — 5 calculations
  • Successive Dives — 5 calculations
  • SAC Calculator — Unlimited calculations, 3 saved results

Once a quota is reached, a Premium subscription is required for continued use.

Premium Subscription​

A Premium subscription removes all quotas and unlocks:

  • Unlimited access to all tools (Dive Planner, Gas Blending, Successive Dives, SAC Calculator)
  • Unlimited SAC history — Save as many SAC calculations as you need
  • Up to 100 favorite dive spots — Save your most visited weather locations
  • Unlimited dive plans — Save and organize as many dive plans as you need

Free Trial​

Every new user gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all premium features. Payment information is collected when you start your trial, but you won't be charged until it ends.

Billing​

Choose between monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing gives you 2 months free compared to paying month by month. Pricing is available in multiple currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, and more). You can cancel your subscription at any time.

You can subscribe from the Pricing page, from the pricing cards on the landing page, or from Settings > Billing if you already have an account.

Mobile subscriptions

On Android and iOS, subscriptions are managed through the respective app store (Google Play or App Store).
